Shannon Sharpe and Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson had a wild episode of their Nightcap podcast on Wednesday night after Sharpe accidentally went live on Instagram Live while making love.
While Shannon Sharpe initially tried to claim that his Instagram account was hacked, he later deleted the post and reversed course, and has since owned up to the incident, using lines such as “nobody was harmed in the making of this” video.
In a particularly wild episode of the Nightcap podcast, Sharpe addressed the incident, leading to some hilarious responses from Ochocinco and an anecdote about Katt Williams. Let’s start with Sharpe.
“A situation like this, you try to make light of it,” Sharpe beings. “Nobody was harmed in the making of this audio. She might have had to put a little ice pack down there, but she good otherwise. You know, you play a hard game, you ice. Basketball players ice their knees, they ice their ankles, their elbows and stuff like that. Football players. Okay!”

Ochocinco couldn’t help but have some fun with Sharpe, of course, as he directly quoted something explicit Sharpe said in the video, adding “I ain’t never heard you talk like that, Unc. Now, what we do gotta work on is — ain’t nothing wrong with ya hips — but we gotta work on your cardio.”
If you’ve seen the video, you know what Ochocinco is referencing, as Sharpe sounded like a chainsmoking orc from Mordor who just ran a 5K.
The hilarity didn’t end there, though, as Sharpe revealed that comedian Katt Williams also gave him a call to clown on him, apparently telling him “You ain’t gay today!”, a reference to recent unfounded and off-base speculation about Sharpe’s sexuality (which isn’t anyone’s business either way).
Sharpe also delivered a more measured, apologetic response to the video, which you can watch below.

Sharpe appears on ESPN’s First Take alongside Stephen A. Smith and Mondays and Tuesdays, meaning next week’s episode might be must-see TV if Smith also pokes fun at Sharpe for the video.
