At a July 2024 concert in London, England, Shania Twain surprised her audience with a giant tree onstage.
On July 10, the singer-songwriter reminisced about the humorous stunt with a social media post.
She shared a clip from the show in which she hugged the tree, laughing along with the audience as she said, “I mean, is this fake? I don’t care, it feels real. And big, and like, I don’t know. I want to believe in it.”
The Canadian megastar captioned the video, “Guys did I mention the HUGE TREE on the stage at my @bsthydepark show?! I’m still thinking about it!”

Twain’s fans kept the jokes going in the comments section of her tree-focused post.
“If he’s a rocket scientist, Brad Pitt or has a car, that won’t impress you. BUT A TREE??? The most impressed,” a fan named Ashley joked, referring to the singing sensation’s 1997 hit, That Don’t Impress Me Much.
“There’s no video I love more than this,” Ashley wrote in another comment.

Shania married music producer Robert John “Mutt” Lange.
2001
Shania and Mutt welcomed a son, Eja. Shortly after Eja’s birth, they met and befriended married couple Marie-Anne and Frédéric Thiébaud in Switzerland, with Shania even hiring Marie-Anne as an assistant in running her home.
2008
Mutt surprised Shania by asking for a divorce, leading Shania to ask Marie-Anne if she’d noticed any strange behavior from him. Marie-Anne reassured Shania that nothing strange seemed to be going on.
