SHAKIRA has shaken up fans with her latest age-defying appearance.
The Grammy-winning singer wowed in a revealing outfit – even as she nears age 50.
Shakira was a guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night.
The 47-year-old was promoting her first new album in seven years, titled Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which translates in English to Women No Longer Cry.
Shakira had fans crying out for more after her electrifying performance, filled with all the hip-shaking and gyrating she is famous for.
While she did cover her legs in long white pants, she left her top nearly exposed, with a matching crotchet top that covered just what it needed to – and little more.
After the appearance was shared online, many asked what is her secret.
“She looks like 26 here,” one person compared. “Always unique and amazing performer.”
“She still looks amazing!” another gushed.
While one fan was just plain jealous.
“The envy that Shakira generates in some women is not normal, hahaha, especially ladies over 40 years (old).”
FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH
Shakira gave fans a hint of what it takes to keep her so youthful, when she sat down with YouTuber Melanie Murphy.
The Hips Don’t Lie shared the importance of taking supplements for plump, youthful skin before applying any cosmetics.
“For my face, I use vitamin C because it stimulates collagen,” Shakira said.
“It also brightens your skin if you have little spots.”
She uses a vitamin C serum and vitamin E product from the pharmacy to hydrate her dry skin.
Also, she wears sunscreen every day and can’t go without it, especially in the summer.
“I also think it’s really important to remove your makeup every night and I use a cleansing brush (or even a washcloth) to remove any impurities,” she told InStyle.
OUT OF A JAM
Her new album comes as Shakira continues to reinvent herself after her bitter breakup from ex-partner Gerard Pique, 37, in 2022.
The former Barcelona star was allegedly caught cheating, after the singer noticed some of her favorite strawberry jam had gone missing from the fridge while she was away.
The Whenever, Wherever ended her marriage to Gerard after learning about his reported infidelity.
She said about the new album: “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process.
“While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”
In October, Shakira appeared to make a dig at Gerard when she shared a video of Arsenal fans singing their own version to her trilingual bop Waka Waka.
She captioned the post “Go Arsenal!” – a rival of Pique’s former European soccer team Manchester United.
