REAL Housewives alum Jen Shah has been offered a mini-series by Bravo before checking in to serve her prison sentence, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.

Jen, 50, reported to prison on February 17, 2023, to serve her six-and-a-half year sentence after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing.

The RHOSLC star is currently behind bars at Bryan Federal Prison Camp (FPC) in Texas, yet has still been brought up multiple times throughout season four of the show.

Now, The U.S. Sun has exclusively learned that Jen was offered her own series by Bravo and why she declined it.

Her rep told The U.S. Sun: “Bravo did offer Jen a mini-series in January 2023.”

The mini-series would have been about her days leading up to the deadline to turn herself in.

The production company, Shed Media, “would have followed her day-to-day,” her rep elaborated.

It is unclear how much the entrepreneur was offered to appear on cameras.

Jen and her team eventually declined the offer “due to the exclusivity and misrepresentations clause in her agreement that Andy [Cohen] was adamant in keeping,” per her manager.

The clause would allow the network to have control and “freely edit anything they want in her story.”

At the time, Jen posted a statement on her Instagram page about not doing a one-on-one interview with Andy because of his and Bravo’s “unwillingness to remove contractual provisions that allow the network to legally make misrepresentations of me and my story, relating to any and all topics, prior to and during the course of my participation.”

She added: “This specific 1 on 1 interview was not part of my RHOSLC reality tv contract. I promised myself and my loving family that I would not allow this portion of my life to be sensationalized or inaccurately conveyed.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Bravo for comment.

Andy, for his part, responded to Jen’s social media post on Radio Andy: “I did want to do a one on one with her. I don’t care about it anymore. I’m over it. Her stipulations were insane.

“I know she wanted to do a docuseries of her days leading up to jail.

“She wanted a lot of money and she was still professing her innocence, so it would have been another interview of her sitting across from me, lying to my face, which we got at two reunions from her.”

BLACK EYE BOMBSHELL

Fast-forward to season four premiering in September and the cast welcoming newbie Monica Garcia, who was Jen Shah’s former assistant.

Jen has since been brought up in multiple conversations between Monica and the rest of the cast, including Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay.

In the explosive finale, which aired on January 2, Heather revealed Jen was the one who gave her the mysterious black eye during season three.

The housewife alum quickly took to her Instagram, via a member on her team, to refute the claims.

“BRAVO, if i punched Heather in her eye, you guys would have footage to prove it.

“It’s clear the show can’t live without me since I was brought up at the beginning, middle and end of season 4,” she said on her story.

“Andy is still butt hurt that I turned down his 1:1 interview.”

She continued: “Why would you sit down with someone who ‘gave’ another cast member a black eye? Next story.”

BRAVO BEGS JEN

Jen’s rep said in a new statement to The U.S. Sun on January 3 that Jen “strongly refutes the claims made by Heather in her attempt to make a moment for television in last night’s finale.”

Her rep continued: “It is sad that during all of the personal growth that Jen has made since her surrender last year, Bravo, NBC Universal, and Shed Media continue to create false narratives, which is a full circle moment as to why we originally turned down Andy’s invitation for a 1:1 interview.”

He also noted that there have been “multiple calls” from executive producers at Bravo “inquiring about Jen’s release and her coming back to the show,” as well as offers made to the mom of two’s husband, Sharrieff Shah, which happened earlier this year, but “was also declined promptly.”

Jen’s manager told The U.S. Sun that his client “has ignored and not returned any phone calls from Andy or his assistant.”

He claimed: “Andy continues to target Jen anyway he can because of his bitterness of losing out on his Diane Sawyer moment.”

After turning down the offers from Bravo, “Jen still remains devoted towards her personal mission of rehabilitating, growth, and putting this chapter behind her,” her rep added.

There is no update as of today on Jen’s return to the franchise or a future spinoff given her release date isn’t until May 2028.

TROLLED ON INSTAGRAM

Along with the black eye bombshell, the other biggest revelation in the finale was that Monica was behind the Instagram account Reality Von Tease.

Seemingly inspired by the show Gossip Girl, the profile often posts content about the ladies from the show, including satirical and unflattering rumors about Jen.

“These were character assassinations, but we never knew who it was,” Heather said on the finale that took place in Bermuda.

“It was dedicated to annihilating and exposing Jen Shah.

“But it quickly expanded to troll all of us. Me, Whitney, Meredith, Lisa.”

Heather revealed Monica was the one behind the mystery profile.

The newbie, who was later kicked out of the dinner table, denied it was just her and claimed there were other people running it.

She insisted: “There were several other humans involved but bottom line, our mission was to take down Jen, the other ones were just collateral damage.”

The RHOSLC three-part reunion begins on January 9 at 8pm ET on Bravo.
