Wilson is currently engaged to her partner, Ramona Agruma. The happy couple are the parents of their one-year-old daughter, Royce, whom they had through surrogacy.

During an interview in 2022 with People magazine, she opened up about motherhood and how it influenced her decision to lose weight.

The “Pitch Perfect” star claimed that in 2019, when she saw her fertility doctor, she was informed that losing weight would increase her chances of obtaining and freezing her eggs.

“He looked me up and down and said, ‘You’d do much better if you were healthier,’” she noted at the time.

She admitted that the comment from the doctor shocked her but that he was “right” as she was carrying around a lot of “excess” weight.

“I was taken aback. I thought, ‘Oh God, this’s guy’s so rude.’ He was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight. It’s almost like I didn’t think of my own needs. I thought of a future child’s needs that really inspired me to get healthier.”
