Rachel also spends a lot of time in the gym. “There was a short time right after college when I shifted much of my focus from the tennis world to fitness training. I think I was just so excited to be finished with only being able to do tennis-specific workouts and for the first time in my life, I had the freedom to do whatever workouts I wanted to!” she told Fitness Girls, she began “weight training, working out extremely hard” and “went all in; I did two strategic workouts a day,” she added.Ā

Rachel thinks “every woman should celebrate her body no matter what” and promotes self-love. “I want to empower women, not alienate or make women who don’t look exactly like me feel bad. I’m very well aware of Instagram and body ideals and I don’t want to be part of a problem for little girls. I show that I’m not just taking pictures of me looking good, I show how hard I work out to get the body that I have,” she told The Sun.

Rachel loves another country club sport: Golf. “Picked up a new hobby,” she captioned a photo of herself out on the course. Acoording to the British Journal of Sports Medicine, golf’s health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance are amongst them.

Rachel prioritizes “focusing on my nutrition,” she told Fitness Girls. She follows a “weighed-out meal plan given to me by a nutritionist who helped me reach my goals.” Planning meals ahead of time helps you stick with your eating plan and makes you less likely to eat unhealthy food.Ā
