Pretty Lights Outlines Soundship Spacesystem 2024 Check Your Vector Tour

Pretty Lights, otherwise known as Derek Smith, has dropped a new run of dates following last year’s long-awaited return after a five-year hiatus by extending his Soundship Spacesystem Tour into 2024, dubbed Check Your Vector Tour. The impending run picks up on May 31, with a previously announced stand at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va., before ensuing multi-night stands and festival appearances.

Sharing dates on social media, Smith’s post began:

fire starter future sailors

looking back from tomorrow

we focus the light into the present

to transform ourselves into what we could never have imagined..

where are you going

inspect your vector

before you wreck your vector

and find alignment in the nebulous blossom of possibility

He followed with a roll-out of information pertaining to the tour, including details on a two-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., on August 2 and 3, which will represent the first Pretty Light performance at the venue since 2018’s 10th-anniversary run–the artist’s final concert prior to his aforementioned hiatus.

From one famed venue to the next, Pretty Lights is set to perform on Woodstock’s hallow grounds, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, in Bethel, N.Y., on Aug. 23 and 24. Another back-to-back set of shows will percolate on the other side of the country on Sept. 6 and 7 at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey’s, followed by an already announced festival slot at Austin City Limits, weekend one and two.

Next on the schedule, Pretty Lights will participate in three concerts at Minneapolis’ The Armory on Nov. 8-10 before taking a jaunt down to The Sunshine State on Nov. 22-24 for another round of gigs, only this time at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The final newly added concerts will occur on Dec. 6-7 at Boston’s Roadrunner venue. On the road, Smith will welcome live band members Chris Karns (turntables), Alvin Ford Jr. (drums), Borahm Lee (keyboards), and Michel Menert (production).

Of note, the artist marked Oct. 25 and 26 on his impending schedule, thought no details pertaining to the location of the pre-Halloween concerts have been revealed.

Artist presale tickets (GA + VIP) for newly announced shows will go on sale Wednesday, May 15  at 10 am MT. General on sale will begin Friday, May 17 at 10 am MT.
