Pia has a healthy approach to eating and refuses to starve herself. “‘I don’t diet. I do what I want and I do what makes me happy. I exercise, but if I want to buy an entire bag of Cheetos, I’m going to, and if I want a green juice, I’ll do that too,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “I don’t like restrictions, it’s not the way to live.”

As for exercise, Pia prefers strength training workouts, which she regularly shares on social media. Some of her go-to exercises include squats, leg lifts, battle ropes, and box jumps. While there are many forms of exercise that are beneficial, the most important thing is to just do something. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans

Pia prioritize self-care. “‘(Writing in my journal) makes me (feel) more secure in a way,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “Things that make me feel good (apart from makeup) are just relaxing, taking a bath, writing in my journal and just getting my thoughts out. It helps me to just kind of settle down and see what my goals are and what I’m going through, and that makes me (feel) more secure in a way.” As for social media, “I’m on there just to share life and be positive and happy. I don’t let (negative) things affect me. I do what I want and I do what makes me happy.” She also loves to read. “You were born with the right to be happy. you were born with the right to love, to enjoy and to share your love. you are alive, so take your life and enjoy it,” she captioned a recent photo of herself reading a book on the beach.

Pia also loves a few other sweat-inducing activities. A few of her favorite activities to blast calories al fresco? Paddleboarding in her swimsuit and riding horses. “Never thought I’d fall in love with riding horses,” she captioned one Instagram post.

Pia is also into boxing, throwing punches at the Ten Goose Boxing Gym in Van Nuys, California. “Therapy,” she captioned this video. Why is fitness boxing great for you? “This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture,” physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s hospital tells Harvard Health.”You’re swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you’re in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you’re strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs.”
