Pedro Pascal’s BUFFY Episode Now Titled ‘When Mother Met Father’

You’ve probably heard of Pedro Pascal. He’s only in two of the biggest shows of the moment, The Last of Us and The Mandalorian. Understandably, new fans will want to dig into his full cinematic resume so they can catch up on what they’ve been missing. And luckily, Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Instagram to make sure we don’t overlook two of our favorite worlds colliding. Yes, as Gellar reminds us, Pedro Pascal was on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And yes, we don’t want to miss out on this crossover.

Pedro Pascal’s Buffy episode will henceforth be known as “When Mother Met Father.” But Pascal actually appeared in a season four Buffy episode titled “The Freshman.” He guest starred as a student attending US Sunnydale named Eddie. Unfortunately, although Eddie and Buffy share a sweet connection, things don’t go so well for Pascal in the Buffy-verse. But these misadventures give us a lot of delight now.

Pascal, for his part, is just thrilled Sarah Michelle Gellar remembers his time on Buffy. Speaking to Access Hollywood, he shares, “What I just found out that I am very excited about, and I can’t wait to get my phone back so that I can look at it myself, is that Sarah Michelle Gellar remembers me.”

For those wanting to experience Pascal’s turn on Buffy themselves, here’s how. Buffy the Vampire Slayer currently streams on Hulu. And “The Freshman” is season one’s first episode. Space father, apocalypse father, and now vampire freshman—Pedro Pascal really can do it all.
