Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce proved they are stoic men of few words when it came to paying a Mother’s Day tribute to Brittany Mahomes.
On Sunday, May 12, Patrick took to Instagram to share a charming snapshot of his wife and their two children striking a pose together.
“Happy Mothers Day! @brittanylynne,” the Super Bowl champ wrote alongside the single image. The picture depicted a normal, wholesome family. Straight out of a Sears catalog, Brtianny, daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 16 months, all wore matching white tops and denim bottoms.
In the comments, Chief’s teammate and current Taylor Swift suitor Travis Kelce also gave a thoughtful hat tip to the mom of two. “Happy Mother’s Day Britt!!”,” Kelce wrote. By Monday afternoon, Kelce’s four words had attracted nearly 3,000 “likes” from fans on Patrick’s Instagram.

Meanwhile, Brittany Mahomes also paid tribute to… herself… on Mother’s Day. “Being a Mom is the best title I could ever have,” she wrote for her 1.9 million followers. “I could not have asked for two better babies, raising them with their dad by my side makes every day beautiful,” she added in the caption of a series of snapshots of herself alongside her kids and husband.
“And to every mama in my life, Happy Mother’s Day,” she continued. “I have learned something from each of you & am so thankful to have you by my side in this crazy life.”
Of course, Brittany’s social media savvy runs much deeper than Patrick’s. Aside from her much, much longer caption, she features far more than a single image like the famous quarterback did.
In the snapshots, Brittany and Sterling donned identical white dresses adorned with floral designs. Similarly, the Mahomes men were coordinated in beige shirts and sneakers. In one snapshot, the couple is seen sharing a tender kiss with their children, while other images feature Brittany in solo poses with the cute tykes.
Perhaps sensing that his own Mother’s Day Tribute to Brittany didn’t quite live up to expectations, Patrick Mahomes sheepishly replied with heart emojis in the comments.
