Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ family is expanding
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback announced in a joint Instagram post on Friday that he is expecting baby No. 3 with his wife, a former professional soccer player.
The post featured a behind-the-scenes video of their family’s photoshoot, which included their two children: daughter Sterling, 3, and 1-year-old son Patrick III, aka “Bronze.”
“Round three, here we come,” the post’s caption said.
Sterling can be seen dancing around while holding a sonogram photo during the clip.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes began dating when they were in high school. They wed in 2022.
Brittany Mahomes, who is a co-owner of theKansas City Current women’s soccer team, has been open about some of the challenges she’s faced as a mom of two.
During a Q&A on Instagram last year, she shared that she found it difficult to make time for herself.
“Life is still moving when you have a kiddo, so obviously they become your main priority,” she said at the time, according to People magazine. “But you can’t just forget about everything else you did before.”
Patrick Mahomes publicly recognized his wife’s dedication to their family in May, saying on the podcast “Impaulsive With Logan Paul” that he thinks people “don’t even realize how much she does.”
The three-time Super Bowl champion said his wife takes care of the “day-to-day stuff” in their household so that he can focus on football.
“She pushes me to be great, and she’s done a lot of great things herself,” he said.
