Luana Alonso, the 20-year-old SMU swimmer who made headlines during the 2024 Summer Olympics after the Paraguayan Olympic Committee removed her from the team for allegedly breaking curfew, has joined an adult content subscription service.
While the Paraguayan Olympic Committee did not offer a specific reason for why Alonso was removed from the team amid the competition, reports at the time indicated that she snuck out of the Athletes’ Village for a night out in Paris (an allegation she later denied).
Luana Alonso, who turns 21 years old in March 2025, holds multiple Paraguayan records in the butterfly stroke and was selected to represent Paraguay in the 100-meter event before being dismissed.
“[Alonso’s] presence is creating an inappropriate atmosphere within Team Paraguay. We thank her for proceeding as instructed, as it was of her own free will that she did not spend the night in the Athletes’ Village,” the POC said in a statement in August.
“I just want to clarify that they (Paraguay) never took me out or expelled me from anywhere, stop spreading false information. I don’t want to give any statement but I’m not going to let the lies affect me either,” Alonso later said on Instagram.
Reports from TMZ now indicate that Alonso has joined the popular adult subscription website OF and is selling monthly subscriptions for $35.
In addition to formerly representing Paraguay at the Olympics, Alonso attends Southern Methodist University in University Park, Texas, where she is a member of the swim team and is currently scheduled to graduate in 2026.
