NINETIES rock legends reunited for their first new album in 15 years – after band split, line-up change and brothers who didn’t speak for YEARS.
The year 2024 commemorates four decades since the founding of The Black Crowes by the Robinson Brothers.
The founding members of the band comprise Chris Robinson, Rich Robinson, and Sven Pipien.
The iconic rock group, The Black Crowes, reveal the highly awaited upcoming album titled “Happiness Bastards,” scheduled for a global release on March 15 through the band’s own label, Silver Arrow Records.
The upcoming album pays homage to their history, revels in the current moment, and looks to the future with 10 original tracks.
It featuring a distinctive collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated superstar Lainey Wilson.
The initial formation of the band, known as “Mr. Crowe’s Garden” and named after Leonard Leslie Brooke’s children’s book “Johnny Crow’s Garden,” commenced in 1984 in Marietta, Georgia.
In 2004, a few band members came together to perform “Sometimes Salvation” with Gov’t Mule at the Jammy Awards.
During their break, Chris Robinson released albums like New Earth Mud in 2002 and This Magnificent Distance in 2004.
At the same time, Rich Robinson briefly joined a band called Hookah Brown before dropping his solo album, Paper, in 2004.
On a teaser post on the band’s Instagram, One fan commented: “I love when you guys don’t f**k around and just kick out the jams. Killer song!”
Another added: “Sounds great!!”
