DATING rumors involving Anaheim Ducks star Trevor Zegras and influencer Dixie D’Amelio have gathered steam once more.
The 22-year-olds were recently spotted sitting side by side at UFC 298 in Anaheim, California.
In a TikTok shared by ESPN, D’Amelio could be seen wearing a white top and denim jacket, taking in her surroundings.
Zegras sat to her left in a light blue overshirt, white t-shirt, and baseball cap, speaking with someone next to him.
This was reportedly believed to be the first time they had been seen together since December, as per the New York Post.
Their high-profile meet-up seemingly took fans by complete surprise.
“I’m still processing the fact that these two even met. Literally from 2 different worlds,” commented one fan.
“Wait I feel like I never would’ve expected them together but I kind of love it?” replied a second.
“I love them even more every time I see them together,” a third responded.
While another said, “And now Dixie will be the Taylor Swift of hockey…”
Pop sensation Swift dominated headlines throughout the recently concluded NFL season thanks to her blossoming relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The Cruel Summer singer regularly attended his games, garnering huge attention from broadcasters, fans, and social media in the process.
Whether or not Zegras and D’Amelio will reach this level remains to be seen, especially as their relationship status remains a mystery.
Rumors surrounding their supposed relationship have swirled since at least September 2023, following which they were spotted together multiple times, as per various social media accounts.
Despite reports to the contrary in December, Zegras and D’Amelio – at least as of early March – do follow one another on Instagram.
Neither Zegras nor D’Amelio have commented on the ongoing relationship rumors.
D’Amelio had previously been in a long-term relationship with fellow social media star, Noah Beck.
They went public in October 2020, having met earlier that year, and ultimately split in November 2022, as per People.
A TikTok sensation, D’Amelio has 56.4 million followers on the platform, watching on as she shares a mixture of sponsored content, glamour posts, and lifestyle content.
She also has a further 21.4 million followers on Instagram.
As for Zegras, the ninth overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, he has played just 20 of the Ducks’ 60 games so far this season after he broke his ankle on January 9.
So far this season, the center has recorded four goals, three assists, and seven points.
