Nadeshot mortified after Marvel Rivals trash talk backfires in worst way possible

Nadeshot’s attempt to trash talk opponents in Marvel Rivals ended in disaster when the game censored his comments and made them look way worse.

Like many streamers, 100 Thieves CEO Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag has been playing Marvel Rivals, and he’s clearly enjoying the hero shooter shenanigans.

Being rather competitive, after picking up the victory in a match, the Twitch streamer decided to put his foes on blast – but his cocky attitude soon turned to regret.

In the chat, Nadeshot wrote out “GG sh1tt3rs,” with the numbers in place of letters to bypass Marvel Rivals’ censorship, but this backfired in a huge way when only part of the word was starred out.

Marvel Rivals’ censorship leaves Nadeshot speechless

Immediately after typing out his message and hitting send, Nadeshot was perplexed as Marvel Rivals censored his remarks to “GG ***3rs” which made it appear as if he typed out a slur.

“Oh wait, that looks really bad!” Haag exclaimed and visibly cringed. “Oh, sh*t.”

Those in the match were baffled by Nadeshot’s message and didn’t realize the game had made his comments look so much worse.

“WOAH,” one of the streamer’s allies replied.

“Nade just slurred LMFAO,” someone else chimed in.

With his hands to his head, Nadeshot instantly expressed regret. “What’s what I get for talking sh*t, bro! Oh my God.”

The clip went ultra viral on social media with over 12M views and counting, making it one of the wildest Marvel Rivals incidents caught on stream yet.

Luckily, because he was streaming and his actual message was showcased during the broadcast, he didn’t have to prove that he didn’t type out a slur.

Regardless, this type of in-game censorship is a good example of why Marvel Rivals players should avoid trash talk in chat, at least until Netease can fix how it censors certain words.
