AEW star Kenny Omega shared his vision for the possible future of pro wrestling, saying he can see a world where Logan Paul and YouTube icon MrBeast headline an event together.
Logan Paul shook up the wrestling world in 2021 when he made his debut in the WWE. In 2022, he signed a multi-year contract with the brand and has since become a popular heel who audiences love to hate.
Paul isn’t the only internet star to break into the mainstream, by far. Several high-profile influencers have made their way into traditional media, such as Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson, owner of the world’s most-subscribed YouTube channel.
Donaldson owns his own chocolate bar brand — which can be found in nearly every major American grocery store — and even hosts a record-breaking game show on Amazon Prime, on top of voicing several characters in major animated movies.
Logan Paul has become a popular heel since officially joining the WWE in 2022.
Kenny Omega predicts Logan Paul vs MrBeast at future WrestleMania
With this in mind, one of wrestling’s greatest stars, Kenny Omega, envisioned a future where Logan Paul and MrBeast co-headline a WrestleMania together, as told in a May 13 interview with YouTuber Adi Shankar.
“I don’t know if I’ve ever said it publicly or not, but I mean, I think we’re headed on a path where, a couple of WrestleManias down the road, the main event’s gonna be Logan Paul vs MrBeast,” he mused.
“It’s like, what is the wrestling acumen? How many miles have they put into it? Does it matter? It’s the process of evolution.”
“People are getting cast in roles for films just based on their social media following,” he continued. That’s kind of in relation to the Logan Paul thing. He just decided he wanted to try wrestling… I would say it’s more that, but also, that thing that was once so protected, that insider industry kayfabe… the doors are almost wide-open. It’s a paper-thin curtain.”

Kenny’s thoughts on the subject echo that of many others toward influencer boxing, where Jake Paul — Logan Paul’s little brother — has made a massive splash over the past half-decade.
In fact, Jake has made it clear that he wants to become a legitimate world champion boxer, and is taking on some of the biggest names in the sport to make it happen.
However, his fights have often come under scrutiny due to who he chooses to box — namely, retired athletes like Ben Askren and Mike Tyson, whom he fought in one of the largest live-streamed combat sports events in the world on Netflix.
Thus far, neither MrBeast nor Logan Paul have responded to Kenny Omega’s thoughts on them headlining a WrestleMania together — but given the fact that both IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat have already had a turn in the ring, it certainly doesn’t seem impossible.
