YouTube superstar Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is reportedly looking to raise “a couple hundred million dollars” as his empire has been valued at $5 billion.

Over the last few years, MrBeast has risen up to become YouTuber’s most-subscribed to channel. He has given away millions to competitors in his videos, as well as splashing out for his friends and different content creators.

In the last few months, Donaldson has ventured away from YouTube temporarily for his Beast Games series with Amazon’s Prime Video. The Squid Game-inspired series saw participants compete in different games and tasks for the chance to win $10 million.

Since the finale has aired, the YouTube star has been dishing out a few insights about it all. That includes the fact that he lost “tens of millions” of dollars making the show become a reality.

MrBeast wants outside investment for $5 billion empire

Well, according to Bloomberg, he’s now looking to recoup some of that money and expand his business empire even further with a brand-new round of funding.

As per the report, Donaldson is looking to raise “a couple hundred million dollars” in a round of investment that would value his empire at $5 billion. Yes, billion.

Different financial firms and wealthy individuals have already spoken about investing, with apparently MrBeast wanting to expand both his packaged goods and media businesses. That would mean further backing for both Feastables and Lunchly.

Scaling up on Feastables is something that Donaldson has spoken about a few times. He wants to solve a problem with American companies not ethically sourcing their cocoa.

“I’m prob like 1,000+ hours deep into solving this so far and I want to over the next decade change how cocoa is sourced in America because how it is now is unacceptable,” he posted on X(formerly Twitter).

It was also something he touched on when speaking to Dexerto for the Click Baited podcast, as well as his ambition to own a League of Legends franchise too.
