A woman who shot numerous photos of the Loch Ness Monster in 2018 has come forward and finally released them, revealing what one expert says are “the most compelling surface images” of the creature ever taken.

Inspired by the biggest search for the Loch Ness Monster in over 50 years, Chie Kelly says she was afraid to share the photos before out of fear of being mocked.

Kelly, 52, has now shared all 71 frames of the Loch Ness Monster photos she took on August 13, 2018 while on vacation with her husband.

The Mirror reports that Steve Feltham, a veteran of over 30 years of searching for the Loch Ness Monster, said about her photos, “They are the most compelling surface images of the phenomenon. Putting all 71 frames out there will hopefully spark international debate and an analysis. That’s the point of it.

“They still defy explanation. I don’t think they are otters – those creatures are much smaller than what is in the images – or divers. It also appears there may be two objects. They certainly warrant further investigation.”

Chie Kelly and her husband were visiting the Inverness area because that is where he grew up and they would visit Dores beach when they were dating.

“At the time I did not want to face public ridicule by making the photographs public,” said Kelly.

“But I met Steve Feltham and showed him the images and he said immediately that they were ‘very interesting’. I have always believed there was something in Loch Ness. There is something unusual there, but I don’t know what it is. What I saw looked like a serpent. It was definitely a creature and it was moving.”

“We are lucky the Kellys have decided to go public at last,” said Feltham. “I have met the Kellys twice and they are absolutely genuine. I persuaded them that these pictures were so important they should make them public. They warrant further investigation. It is not driftwood – it is a moving creature and totally unexplained.”

All 71 frames taken by Chie Kelly were spliced together by The Cryptid Factor podcast to essentially create a video of what she saw that day and what has many convinced was the actual Loch Ness Monster.
