Mexican MMA star/model Lucero Acosta is turning heads on social media.
Acosta, is nikcnamed “la loba” which translates to “she-wolf”, has a 3-2 record and recently defeated Mariel Celimen at a Combate Global event in September.
Acosta was supposed to fight again in April but unfortunately suffered a hand injury and is now expected to return to the cage some time in July.

“I took some x-rays, and it showed that it is broken,” she said. “Doctor’s told me that the bone didn’t move. If it did it would have consisted of surgery, but it did not. He told me it could be six weeks until I get better,” she said.
Acosta was looking forward to compete three times this year, but she says she needs to be patient. “I was ready, but things happen for a reason. It is time to learn other things and just look at it on a positive way,” she said.
She expects to be ready to go around July. She said she is ready to compete against anyone, but if she had to choose one opponent, it is Chantel Coates. “I want the rematch against, “ she said.
While she recovers, Acosta is heating things up on her iNstagram account.
