THE Premier League season kicks off this weekend with football fans dreaming of success.
Despite the Euros getting in the way of transfers this summer, bundles of cash has been spent yet again bringing the top stars to our shores.
Man Utd spent big on Joshua Zirkzee, paying Bologna £34million for the Dutch striker.
He will be joined by his Wag, a model who he appeared alongside in a fashion ad.
But which other Wags are coming to the Premier League? SunSport reveals below.
Clara Motta Guedes
Portuguese model Clara is the girlfriend of Wolves new boy Rodrigo Gomes.
She is sure to light up Molineux with her stunning looks, watching her beau from the stands.
The blonde is signed to the world renowned Elite Models.
She’s already taken to her new surroundings. On her Instagram page, she has written: “From Portugal living in Wolverhampton, UK.”
Celina Kerr
Celina is reportedly the girlfriend of Red Devils striker Joshua Zirkzee.
The influencer and model is believed to have graduated in Berlin with a degree in Media and Communication Management.
They have kept their personal lives private on social media, but they were once seen embracing on a Valentine’s Day video shoot with JD Sports.
The couple wore unisex tracksuits sold by the sportswear giant in the digital ad campaign, which was shared by Celina on her Instagram feed to her followers.
Ellie Coupland
Skincare expert Ellie is the girlfriend of Ipswich Town centre back Jacob Grieves.
She did work at a cosmetic salon in Hull, although she may have had to swap that for the Suffolk Coast.
Her Instagram is awash with amazing photos of a lifestyle that only a gorgeous Wag can lead.
Most recently, she enjoyed glam trips to Marbella and Mykonos.
Lola Rozenberg
Brighton signed Dutch star Mats Wieffer in a £25million deal from Feyenoord.
His missus is Dutch beauty Lola, who once competed in a beauty contest in her homeland – coming fifth.
They have been in a relationship since 2022, and now seem inseparable.
The pair enjoyed a holiday in Mallorca this summer.
Lisa Smellers Unal
Lisa had already dipped her toe into living on the South Coast when husband Enes Unal joined Bournemouth on loan last season.
The move has now been made permanent, with Lisa now able to sit comfortably, most probably, in Sandbanks.
Expect their home to be perfectly and minimally decorated, because she is an interior designer and feng shui expert.
In her spare time, Lisa is also an energy healer who practices Reiki.
Guadalupe Ramon
West Ham have been busy in the transfer market, with the addition of Argentina international Guido Rodriguez one of the many new additions.
His wife, Guadalupe is an artist who boasts nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram.
Recently, they enjoyed some downtime in the US, where they enjoyed a beach break in Miami.
But Guadalupe also made sure she got her art fix – visiting New York’s famous The Museum of Modern Art.
Premier League sides deducted points and others at risk
Nottingham Forest
Deducted four points during the 2023-24 season for breaching Premier League spending limit by £34.563m. Failed in their appeal with decision upheld.
Everton
Initial 10-point deduction for 2021-22 Premier League breaches reduced to six points on appeal. Were deducted a further two points later in the 2023-24 season. Appealed, but since withdrawn following Prem survival.
Sheffield United
Hit with a two-point deduction for their finances during the 2022-23 EFL season. Will begin the 2024-25 Championship season on -2 points following their relegation from the Prem.
OTHERS WHO COULD FACE PUNISHMENT…
Manchester City
Etihad club emphatically denies the 115 allegations laid against them in February 2023. The lengthy Commission case has been scheduled to start in October or November but a final decision is not expected until March or April 2025.
Chelsea
Blues chiefs flagged up illicit payments made to agents and others during the Roman Abramovich era. Fined £8.6m by Uefa but still to be formally charged by the Prem despite an ongoing investigation.
Leicester
Foxes breached Prem PSR loss limits last season but did not have to report their 2022-23 accounts until this month because of their relegation. That puts the timetable back and means that they will probably face a Prem points deduction for the 2024-25 season following their return to the top flight.
Everton (again)
The Toffees are again at risk of breaking PSR rules and are in a race against time to raise funds and balance the books. Not only could that lead to another charge but also administration. That would lead to an automatic nine-point deduction for the 2024/25 season.
Ioana Ndiaye
Hopefully, Romanian stunner Ioana is happy that her husband Iliman Ndiaye is playing in Liverpool.
The former Sheffield United ace was snapped up by Everton from Marseille.
His missus will surely be happier in Merseyside, famed for his culture.
She did once vow never to return to our shores. When asked on Instagram when she’s coming back, she replied: “Hopefully not anytime soon.”
She added: “I find Sheffield very boring tbf, but this could be because I’ve lived in London before so there is a huge difference.”
