Healy initially seemed confused by the question before finally answering that he had yet to “listen” to his ex-girlfriend’s new album.

“I haven’t really listened to that much of it,” Healy said, per TMZ. “But I’m sure it’s good.”

Another insider told Us Weekly that Healy was very happy Swift’s team gave him a heads-up about the release of “The Tortured Poets Department.”

They said, “He was worried that their story would be shed in a negative light.”

Swift and Healy were first linked publicly in 2014, but the relationship rumors quickly faded. After they met again in 2022, the pair’s romance rumors resurfaced, and they eventually started their relationship in the summer of 2023, after Swift ended her relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.

However, Swift and Healy’s time together was plagued by criticism, with even fans of the star asking her to end the relationship.

At the time, Healy was considered a problematic person due to controversial comments he had made, including one about Ice Spice, which many considered to be “racist.” Healy has since apologized to Ice Spice, and Swift herself worked with the rapper on a remix of her song, “Karma.”
