The quarterback’s wife, Kelly Stafford, shared the update with her Instagram followers saying that she and her two daughters were currently recovering from an illness. The photo was posted as an Instagram story along with a caption.
“Last night was long,” Kelly wrote. “Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius.”
The mother of four did not share many details about the illness. She did, however, tell listeners on her podcast Morning After that she thought she had the flu earlier in the week.
“I can’t think straight, I currently believe I have the flu,” she said on the podcast. “Two of my daughters have the flu.”
She continued by talking about the Los Angeles Rams’ game against the Seattle Seahawks she attended the weekend prior.
“I passed out on a little bench in the suite,” she said. “We had all of our friends in town and I was a real downer. Body aches are serious.”
Kelly later revealed that their kids are doing fine. She wrote, “Before that tho, they were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip.”
Los Angeles Rams Game Impacted by Wildfires
Due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, the Rams’ game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night was relocated to Arizona. The Rams came out victorious, winning 27 to 9.
The LA fires have scorched through at least 40,000 acres of land with firefighters working tirelessly to try to contain them.
“These fires are truly terrifying. Praying for all the firefighters and their loved ones,” Kelly wrote on social media. “Yes, homes and structures are important, but never more important than a life. Please stay safe.”
