The release of the X-Men ’97 trailer caps a busy week for Marvel Studios, as they also debuted the first teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine during the Super Bowl and officially announced the cast of The Fantastic Four on Valentine’s Day.
After months of rumors, Marvel — via a retro, 1960s-set Valentine’s Day postcard shared on social media — confirmed that the cast of The Fantastic Four will be as follows: Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Mass-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
In addition to announcing the cast, Marvel also confirmed that the title has been slightly tweaked from Fantastic Four to The Fantastic Four, and that the release date has been bumped from May 3, 2025 to July 25, 2025.
