Logan Paul has revealed he turned down a $15 million fight against an opponent that no one could have predicted a few months ago, but it might be one for the future.
Over the last few years, Logan Paul has delved deeper into the world of combat sports. He has returned to the boxing ring a few times to fight Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and Dillon Danis, and has even pitched the idea of himself competing in the UFC’s Octagon.
For the most part, though, ‘The Maverick’ can be found inside the WWE ring. He has risen to stardom in the professional wrestling game, holding championships and competing in big-money matches.
Logan has said that his focus is on WWE for the time being, and that has meant turning down opportunities outside of the squared circle. That, it appears, includes a $15 million fight no one was expecting.
Logan Paul turns down $15m Messi security fight
According to the imPaulsive host, he rejected the chance to fight Yassine Cheuko, Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, because of the WWE.
“I have committed my life to becoming a WWE superstar. I’m not doing other opportunities,” Paul said on the April 28 edition of RAW Recap.
“I got offered $15 million to fight Messi’s bodyguard. Super appetizing, but I’m a WWE Superstar. I’m on a mission right now, and while all that other cute ancillary stuff works for other people, I’m devoting my life to this. I turned that down, and I’m going to be the best that I can, and I’m available.”

While the world of pro wrestling is all about pushing storylines, there might just be some truth to Logan’s rejection. He had previously mentioned it back in late March and there is ongoing beef between him and Messi.
Mas+, Messi’s branded drink, has been suing Prime Hydration – Logan and KSI’s company – since October. The lawsuit has taken a few twists, including Prime being accused of ‘harassing’ the Argentine superstar.
