Tori Roloff is working hard to get in shape for summer. In a new social media post the Little People Big World Star hops on the treadmill for a workout session, showing off her fit figure in exercise clothes. “This was hard this morning. We can all do hard things,” Tori captioned the post. How does the mother-of-three approach diet and exercise? Here is everything she does to get into shape.

As can be evidenced in her latest social media post, Tori has been sprinting on the treadmill. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

After becoming a mom, Tori, never “one to go to the gym,” started working out regularly, hitting the gym. “I’ve never ever done that in my life,” she told Us Weekly. “This is the first time I’ve found a place that I feel like holds me accountable, and it’s been good. I just feel stronger, and I feel more confident.”

While at the gym, Tori does a lot of weight and strength training exercises. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Tori maintains a healthy diet, fueling her workouts with protein, healthy fats, and good carbs. She once shared a photo of her breakfast. “I upgraded to sourdough and Trader Joe’s everything, but the bagel seasoning,” she captioned an Instagram Story of her meal, which included eggs and avocado.

In a hilarious Instagram video forcing herself to go to the gym, Tori makes sure to grab her water bottle. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
