King Charles III has been hospitalized for an enlarged prostate, coincidentally at the same London Clinic where Kate Middleton is recovering from abdominal surgery.
Following Charles’ arrival, he visited the princess, who is expected to stay up to 14 days at the clinic. Buckingham Palace has since expressed gratitude to well-wishers and highlighted Charles’ positive impact on prostate health awareness.

King Charles III underwent a scheduled hospitalization on Friday for a “corrective procedure” addressing his enlarged prostate at the London Clinic, where the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is recuperating from abdominal surgery.
Following his arrival at the clinic, Charles paid a visit to his daughter-in-law, who postponed her royal duties until after Easter.

Disclosing the King’s medical condition, Buckingham Palace announced a scheduled medical procedure for Charles and the postponement of public events for his recovery.
In the statement, the Palace said: “In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. His Majesty’s condition is benign, and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.”
Queen Camilla, during a conversation with Lord Lieutenant of Aberdeen Dr. David Cameron on her visit to Aberdeen, also briefly acknowledged her husband’s health and assured that the King is “looking forward to getting back to work” after the corrective procedure.

Charles’ health concern was revealed the same day Kensington Palace announced that Kate had undergone a planned abdominal surgery on January 16. However, it is understood that the princess’ condition is not related to cancer.
According to reports, Prince William has visited his wife daily at the London Clinic while she recuperates. However, there are no reports of their three children joining him as the couple aims to maintain normalcy for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Kate is anticipated to spend up to 14 days in the London Clinic before returning home to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, with all royal engagements postponed until after Easter.

An insider who spoke exclusively to Life & Style noted that the princess’ procedure has “been kept so hush-hush that it could be more serious than they’re letting on.”
