Kick co-founder Eddie Craven has finally responded to SoLLUMINATI wanting a big-money deal with the streaming platform, and Adin Ross might even step in.
At the start of May, SoLLUMINATI returned to Twitch after for the first time in five year after the Amazon-owned platform lifted his indefinite ban. However, he has already been in hot water with Twitch since then.
The streamer received his first suspension on May 4 and was required to complete a test on “hateful” conduct. That ban was lifted after he completed the test, however, SoLLUMINATI was banned again on May 20, shortly after he had close to 90,000 viewers during an NBA 2K wager stream.
That second ban was lifted shortly after he made a YouTube video threatening to move to Kick, and claimed that he didn’t feel “safe” on Twitch anymore.
Kick Eddie responds to SoLLUMINATI contract demands
Adin Ross has been trying to coordinate a Kick deal for SoLLUMINATI, especially after the streamer urged the Stake-backed platform to “spoil” him. Though, he also said Kick won’t offer him any cash upfront.
However, Kick boss Eddie Craven has addressed that. “Kick doesn’t offer lump sum deals. You can earn a fair pay, far more competitive then anywhere else with KPP, but it’s based on real output and merit. We believe this to be the fairest way to reward great creators,” he said on X (formerly Twitter).
“End of the day, stream where you feel is best for you.”
Adin Ross will pay out of his own pocket
Adin also chimed in after that, noting that he may have to stump up his own cash to get the streamer onboard.
“I actually have to pay SoLLUMINATI out of my own pocket to stream on Kick,” he told viewers. “Why wouldn’t I? I want him to come. F**k it, why not? He’s the GOAT.”
SoLLUMINATI noted that he and Adin have discussed the move, but he may end up back on Twitch.
“Kick is selling the f**king bag, and it has nothing to do with Adin,” he said. “To be honest with y’all, we could just be right back grinding on Twitch, but it is going to be very, very tough for me to not get banned.”
