FANS of popular YouTuber Kai Cenat aren’t fully convinced he and his friends accidentally blew up his home with dozens of fireworks.
Many are speculating on social media that the YouTuber created a replica of the room he typically live streams from, calling the incident a “stunt.”

On Wednesday night, Cenat’s livestream appeared to take a turn for the worse when the YouTuber and his friend Davis appeared to be fighting in the Georgia home.
The Twitch stream, which had over 300,000 people watching, showed the two wrestling over dozens of fireworks stacked in the seemingly windowless room.
Davis can be seen grabbing an ignition box while Cenat, 22, began yelling at him.
“Stop playin’ with me, bro,” Cenat said.
“Not ’till July Fourth.”
Moments later, excessive explosions began and Cenat and David fled the room.
Smoke began to fill the camera’s view with the sound of fireworks intensifying.
The stream continued for approximately 1 minute when it suddenly cut out.
Around the time of the incident, Cenat appeared to express anger on social media.
“IM DONE WITH ALL THIS S**T!!!!! BET,” he posted on X.
He did not directly refer to the fireworks going off in the post.
During Wednesday’s stream, popular YouTuber MrBeast was also present in the room.
MrBeast is well known for recording wild and outrageous stunts.
In the hours after the fireworks went off, fans of Cenat began to speculate whether the incident was real and caused damage to the streamer’s actual home.
Many X users shared their opinions on the social media platform, accusing the incident of being “fake.”
Several pointed out what appeared to be inconsistencies in the appearance of the room where Cenat has streamed many times before.
From lighting to electric wiring and even paint used on the doors and walls, fans claimed the room from Wednesday’s stream appears to be a replica, or perhaps a set.
Who is Kai Cenat?
YouTuber and Twitch streamer Kai Cenat made headlines after he and a friend appeared to set off dozens of fireworks in his Georgia home on Wednesday.
Cenat, 22, was born on December 16, 2001, to a Haitian father and a Trinidadian mother.
The content creator has a massive following on social media, with more than 10 million followers on Instagram, more than 2.2 million followers on X, and over 11 million subscribers on Twitch.
Before pursuing YouTube and streaming, Cenat attended Morrisville State College in Morrisville, New York.
He ultimately dropped out to pursue content creation full-time.
He first gained popularity in high school after uploading comedy skits to Facebook and Instagram.
In 2020, he joined the streaming group Any Means Possible (AMP) which is known for prank and challenge videos.
Together, the group lives in a house in Atlanta, Georgia.
“The @KaiCenat and @MrBeast stunt is so fake … just look at the colors of the doors,” one user wrote on X.
“Fake room. Look at the ceiling ad the pillars in the background, and the plugs on the wall,” another said.
“The Exit to the door also isnt the same. The only thing real is the fireworks.”
“KAI CENAT AND MR BEAST JUST FOOLED THE INTERNET, THE FAKE ROOM HAS 2 LIGHT SWITCHES REAL DOES NOT,” a third chimed in.
“Buddy its a fake room ur not fooling us the pillars and ceiling is fake and theres no led lights,” another wrote.
