Reality star and fitness maven Kady McDermott is no stranger to posting vacation photos on Instagram, a lot of which feature herself in a swimsuit. Her most recent post is a perfect example. McDermott posted a new reel, where she posed in her hotel room in a bathing suit. She captioned the post, “2022 is for living life ❤️.” How does she stay so fit? McDermott loves to share her workouts with her followers on Instagram. One of the ways she likes to stay in shape is by lifting weights. She posted this video on Instagram of herself doing squats with a large barbell, and a resistance band around her legs. She captioned the post, “Leg day with the @bodygoalsbykady medium tension band in turquoise, adds more resistance onto each exercise helping build those glutes!”

McDermott is a fitness maven, and even has her own program with an app. “To be able to have the opportunity of putting my name to something I love was a dream come true,” she says to Women Fitness. “Then I had the opportunity to make my own fitness app which started the idea of with a huge interest by people of my workout routines via Instagram and again I grabbed that opportunity with both hands.”

Most people think you need equipment or to go to the gym to workout. However, McDermott is trying to disprove that. She tells Women Fitness that she doesn’t go to the gym or use equipment when she works out, and is encouraging others to do the same. “The good thing about my workout routine is that all the exercises you can do literally anywhere, no gym machines are needed.”

McDermott doesn’t skip leg day, and it clearly shows. She tells Women Fitness that she loves doing lower body workouts, and cites a few in particular. “I love leg day so my go to routine is lunges, walking lunges, squats, squat holds, jumping squats and then ab exercises (crunches, v holds and sit ups).”

McDermott broke down her favorite meals with Women Fitness. She says that she eats pretty healthy most of the time. “A healthy breakfast for me always consists of eggs, a white egg omelette with spinach and tomatoes is my go to. Dinner is always mainly chicken based, I love a chicken stir fry or chicken fajitas.”
