JOY-ANNA Duggar has admitted allowing her kids to do dangerous things as she posted a photo of Gideon climbing a tree.
The Counting On alum has been accused by critics of bad parenting and placing her children in harmful situations in the past.

On Wednesday, Joy-Anna, 26, shared photos and videos of her kids as they “helped” her husband, and their dad, Austin Forsyth, 30, work on her Instagram Stories.
One video showed the couple’s three-year-old daughter Evelyn sitting in Austin’s lap as he operated a heavy-duty excavator.
In another video, Evelyn and her older brother Gideon, five, explained how they helped their dad knock down trees and clear land.
The 19 Kids and Counting alum then included a group selfie with all her children, including her and Austin’s newest addition, Gunner.

The next photo, captioned “letting them do dangerous things, carefully,” captured Gideon climbing a tree.
Later in Joy-Anna’s InstaStory, Evelyn was shown collecting “treasure” from the cleared area and Gideon was recorded using a pulley he fashioned from a tie-down strap and the recently cut timber.

Last week, Duggar fans claimed that Joy-Anna’s living room had a dangerous layout.
The hazardous configuration was spotted after the reality TV star posted a photo of her husband Austin playing with Gideon.

Joy-Anna captioned the Instagram Story post, “morning schananigans.”
The snapshot captured her husband playfully tossing Gideon in the air while seated in a recliner.
The chair was positioned in front of the living room window and the backrest of the recliner, along with a full-body mirror and an upright piano, appeared to be blocking a door.
A fan took a screengrab of the InstaStory post and posted it to Reddit.
Though the fan created the social media post to poke fun at Joy-Anna’s spelling of the word “shenanigans,” most of the commenters were focused on the strange layout of the living room.
One person questioned, “What is going on with the layout!?”
They continued, “The lone chair right next to the window, blocking the door? The mirror and piano also blocking the door?!
The Redditor concluded, “I’m so confused.”
“Thats their side door,” responded another before adding, “They always block it.”
A third fan commented, “It is possible the chair is actually more forward than we can tell from the angle of the picture….the piano looks a little close like MAYBE the door would barely make it all the way open but why is the mirror there??”
A fourth person remarked, “I’ve always found the layout of their great room weird and like it shouldn’t even have a door there. I guess they agree lol”
Elsewhere in the comment thread, one person asked, “Why is the area rug flush to the wall?”

Recently, the former TLC star shot back in a new YouTube vlog at critics who are always commenting on her life.
Joy-Anna answered several questions from fans in her Q&A video shared on her family’s YouTube account.
One particular question that earned a candid response from the ex-reality personality dealt with how she handled fame.
“What’s the hardest part of living in the spotlight,” was the fan question Joy-Anna read before she replied to it.
Tackling the inquiry head-on, Joy-Anna admitted that the “hardest part” was dealing with others’ opinions of her life.
“It’s annoying…because you don’t really know me,” she added.
The YouTuber was recently the center of scrutiny regarding her parenting methods.
Joy-Anna was accused of making a few critical mistakes while chopping her daughter Evelyn’s hair last week.
HASTY HAIRCUT
She took to her Instagram profile to record herself cutting the little girl’s long blonde locks.
In the clip, the tiny tot sat perched on a barstool as her mom measured out the length of the trim.
She grinned at the camera as Joy-Anna wet her hair to prepare for the cut.
Joy-Anna used basic kitchen scissors to chop her daughter’s locks to the nape of the neck.
Evelyn smiled as her mom and dad styled her new bob, and even looked in the mirror to check out the final product.
She captioned her post, “Do I regret it? Cutting Evy’s hair at home.”
But fans were quick to notice that Joy-Anna’s haircut method might’ve been wrong because her daughter has very curly hair.
“She’s got beautiful curly hair and really it needs looking after by someone that actually knows how to cut curly hair. You will just cut the curls out,” one wrote.
“Why are you cutting her hair?” a second asked.
“Get some scissors for hair,” a third begged.
“Cut with shears so she doesn’t get split ends,” a fourth advised.
“The cosmetologist in me is hurting watching you cut above your fingers,” a fifth claimed.
