On Tuesday, Jan. 30, Joni Mitchell announced her return to the stage for her first full performance in Los Angeles since 2000. Due to high demand for the coveted ticket, the acclaimed Canadian folk musician has added another Hollywood Bowl date, on Oct. 20, 2024, making the forthcoming experience a two-night affair.
Previously, the songstress shared that her long-awaited return to the concert format would unfold in a singular performance at the esteemed Hollywood Bowl venue on Oct. 19, 2024, prior to a successful launch earlier in the week. Just last fall, Mitchell turned up at the Gorge Amphitheater in Quincy, Wash., unleashing her Joni Jam configuration with Brandi Carlile, which will also be displayed in October.
Besides her Hollywood Bowl appearances, Mitchell made headlines again on Monday, Jan. 29, when it was announced that she would participate in a first-time musical presentation on the Grammy stage at age 80. Additionally, the artist received a nomination for Best Folk Album, Joni Mitchell at Newport.
