Former Marvel star Jonathan Majors has been sentenced following his conviction of assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend.

The former ‘Kang the Conqueror’ actor was facing up to 364 days in jail but he was spared any time behind bars after the judge deemed that “jail is not necessary” in this case.

In lieu of jail time, Jonathan Majors was sentenced to 52 weeks of probation and theory. He will have to undergo a full year of in-person counseling in a batterers intervention program in Los Angeles. Majors was also ordered to continue mental health counseling and to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, whose injuries led to Jonathan Majors’ arrest.

Following the arrest, footage of Jonathan Majors and his ex-girlfriend surfaced along with audio of the former Creed III and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania berating his ex.

The footage above was presented as evidence in trial which led to his conviction. Additional evidence included the 911 call Jonathan Majors made where he alleged to have found Grace Jabbari in his apartment “unconscious.”

Prosecutor Kelli Galaway took a parting shot at Jonathan Majors during the sentencing, saying “this defendant is no longer cloaked with the presumption of innocence. Despite the jury’s verdict, the defendant has still refused to accept any responsibility for his actions.

Prior to the sentencing, Grace Jabbari did provide a victim’s statement. She wrote that Jonathan Majors “remains a danger to others” and described “extreme physical and emotional pain” she endured following the assault.

While reading her statement on the podium, Grace Jabbari said “He is not sorry. He has not accepted responsibility. And he will do it again. He will abuse other women.”

Ultimately, however, the judge deemed that jail time was not necessary and 365 days of probation + counseling would suffice.

In a separate lawsuit filed in March, Grace Jabbari alleged assault, battery, defamation, and more. She is now seeking damages for her injuries, according to ABC News.

The Yale School of Drama graduate currently does not have any ‘upcoming’ projects listed on IMDB and has not been seen in Hollywood since Loki in 2023. It remains to be seen if he will be offered roles again in the future.
