Jhené Aiko Lists Encino Mid-Century Home For $3.65 Million | Architectural Digest

It’s been less than a year since Jhené Aiko bought a modern home in the Los Angeles suburb of Encino, but it would appear she’s done with San Fernando Valley living. According to Dirt, the musician has listed the four bedroom, four and a half bathroom property with an asking price of $3.65 million. She paid $3.4 million for the dwelling late last summer.

From what we can tell, she didn’t update the 3,362 square foot property much as it had been recently renovated when she bought it last year. The home was built in 1966 and its single story construction indeed speaks to that age, but just about everything else has been updated to modern standards, whether it’s the open concept layout of the space or the smart home tech that’s been installed. Only the sleekest of finishes are employed in the space, as is evident in the kitchen alone, which flaunts a marble waterfall island with an attached semicircular breakfast bar and a nearby glass-enclosed temperature controlled wine room. The primary bathroom is an oasis of 21st century luxuries, too, with its marble dual sink vanity, spacious shower, and deep soak tub.

The property measures at nearly three quarters of an acre and it makes good use of that space, with multiple outdoor lounge areas, a pool and spa, a sunken concrete fire pit, and a water feature. The home directly abuts a mountain and features lounging decks at various heights on the side of the mountain, too. It’s unknown if Jhené Aiko plans on buying another property in the area, though she does reportedly still own a home in the tony beachside neighborhood of Pacific Palisades.
