A Philadelphia-based jeweler has offered to give Travis Kelce a $1 million engagement ring for free should he decide to ask Taylor Swift to marry him.
Depending on who you believe, Travis Kelce has either already started planning Taylor Swift’s engagement ring, or he has no plans on getting engaged to the singer anytime soon.
Either way, the owner of Steven Singer Jewelers tells Page Six he has Travis covered just in case.
“I recognize that the most renowned couple globally has an abundance of options when it comes to choosing engagement rings, should they decide to tie the knot,” said Steven Singer.
“If they do, I would be honored to help design a truly extraordinary ring exclusively for them.”
Singer says he is making the extravagant offer because, “My daughter is an avid fan of Taylor Swift, and we admire not only her but also the values she champions.”
He also added, “Perhaps, by presenting them with the ring of their dreams, it might make securing concert tickets for her next tour a tad easier.”
That sound you hear is thousands of eyes rolling over the fact that a couple with a net worth of nearly $800 million are being gifted a free engagement ring worth a million bucks.
Singer did add that should Travis Kelce decide to pay for the ring himself, his company will donate its cost to a charity of their choice. So there’s that.
He might have to wait awhile for them to reach that stage in their relationship though.
One source recently told Us Weekly, “Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”
Then again, Page Six has their own source who said, “Taylor and Travis discussed it and there is a plan. They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”
They also reported that Travis has already asked Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, for his permission to ask her to marry him, which a source claims he “wholeheartedly” received.
Perhaps, much like Travis Kelce’s brother Jason, they would just prefer to make a big announcement like that on their own terms at a time of their choosing rather than have the press do it for them.
Stay tuned.
