JESSICA Simpson has let rip at her ex in new scathing song lyrics from her new single.
Ripping Eric Johnson to shreds in her new song, Jessica even hints that he cheated on her in her new diss track Leave.
Slamming his “weakness”, Jessica, 44, implies that her ex had a secret lover who dressed up in her clothes while they “cheated” together.
In her new song, which is titled Leave, Jessica opens by talking about their love story and how it started out as “magic” before turning “tragic”.
“Your weakness made me lonely, unholy matrimony,” she sings in the second verse.
Jessica then talks about how she wants her man to leave and how she is “stronger” on her own.
She then asks “how’d this even happen?” before making a shock statement in the form of another question.
“Did she get you off dressing up in my clothes?” she asks midway through the song, implying that the person her lover was cheating with dressed like her.
“If you were me you’d fall to pieces, I make heartbreak look damn easy,” she adds.
Jessica then begs her lover to leave some more before declaring that she is letting him go.
Reacting to the song and its lyrics, one person on Instagram said: “Obsessed with this part of your heart Jess! Best vocals and best lyrics ever!”
Another added: “These lyrics are savage.”
“Never heard this side of you before. I’m so proud of you & your ability to be vulnerable,” said a third.
This comes after it was revealed that Jessica split from her husband Eric Johnson after more than 10 years of marriage.
JESSICA AND ERIC’S SPLIT
The singer and businesswoman and the retired NFL star, 45, had been living separate lives for months, sparking rumors of a split.
After months of the couple dropping cryptic clues the star may have split from her pro-athlete husband, Jessica confirmed the news in January.
In a statement to People, the design mogul said: “Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage.
“Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them.
“We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”
Lyrics to Leave by Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson has let rip at her ex in new scathing song lyrics from her new single Leave.
What we had was magic
Now you’ve made it tragic
Giving her what you gave to me
Now the well that you drank forms empty
Your weakness made me lonely
Unholy matrimony
Did you do to her what you did to me
Was she on her knees
Oh oh oh
She’s everything but me
Oh I
I want you to leave
I don’t even wanna breathe the air you breathe
Oh I
I’d rather die
Then let you be inside me with her on your mind
I am stronger on my own
So hold on
I’m letting you go
How’d this even happen
I can just imagine
I wanna know then again I don’t
She get you off dressing up in my clothes
Don’t say you love me
Don’t even try to touch me
If you were me you’d fall to pieces
I make heartbreak look damn easy
Oh oh oh
We’re not doing this again
Oh I
I want you to leave
I don’t even wanna breathe the air you breathe
Oh I
I’d rather die
Then let you be inside me with her on your mind
I am stronger on my own
So hold on
I’m letting you go
Oh I
I want you to leave
I don’t even wanna breathe the air you breathe
Oh I
I’d rather die
Then let you be inside me with her on your mind
I am stronger on my own
So hold on
I’m letting you go
SIGNS THEY HAD SEPERATED
Jessica stopped posting photos of her once ever-present husband in the spring of 2024.
She even posted for a sweet family photo on her three kids’ first day of school- but Eric was noticeably absent.
Though she once posted glowing tributes to her man, she didn’t mention their 10-year wedding anniversary in June 2024.
Fans also noticed she had stopped wearing her wedding band earlier this year.
All the speculation came to a head when Jessica shared a very cryptic post on November 11.
Alongside the pictures, she said: “Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic.
