Despite close competition from Renee, she stormed to an impressive victory by being the only contestant to correctly answer Final Jeopardy.
She walked away with $42,0001, making her total now $438, 183.
The Nova Scotian has won over many fans online, however, some viewers are tired of the champion.
Taking to Twitter as tonight’s episode aired, fans vented their frustrations.
One ranted: “When will this hell on earth that Jeopardy! has become with Mattea Roach end?”
Another vented: “Ugh. 18 days.”
A third said: “I’m ready for Mattea to go…”
