Jennifer Lopez has sold her glitzy New York City penthouse after the valuable piece of Manhattan real estate spent seven years on the market.
According to New York City property records, Jennifer Lopez — whose divorce papers with Ben Affleck have been reportedly “finalized” — sold the place for a price of $23 million.
“The stately penthouse duplex, at 21 E. 26th St., is a spacious 6,540 square feet. It comes with four bedrooms, 6½ baths, and almost 3,000 square feet of outdoor space over four terraces on two levels, including a croquet pitch, a landscaped roof deck, and a putting green.”
“It first asked $26.95 million in 2017, according to records, and it bounced on and off the market in the following years under two separate brokerages.” [via New York Post]
As for Lopez’s long-reported divorce from Ben Affleck, Daily Mail reported this week that the A-list couple’s divorce documents have been “finalized but not yet turned in.”
Affleck has also made some recent moves in the real estate market as he purchased a $20.5 million home on the Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles.
Even though Lopez and Affleck’s divorce looks like a done deal, the pair aren’t out of each other’s lives quite yet as Lopez’s next movie — the sports biopic Unstoppable about one-legged NCAA Champion wrestler Anthony Robles — was produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity, which he co-founded with Matt Damon.
Unstoppable is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Lopez’s other upcoming film, Kiss of the Spider Woman, was also produced by Artists Equity.
Affleck, on the other hand, recently began production on a sequel to his 2016 action thriller The Accountant. He’s also attached to either star, direct, produce, or executive produce upcoming films such as The Instigators, Witness for the Prosecution, Apostle Paul, Animals, Flash Before the Bang, and Keeper of the Lost Cities.
