The Singer Confirmed She ‘Took The Summer Off’ To Spend Time With Her Kids
Speaking on the “Graham Norton Show,” Lopez reflected on her decision to cancel her summer tour earlier in the year.
The tour was meant to be the singer’s fifth concert tour to support her ninth studio album, “This is Me… Now,” which was released in February.
If Lopez had gone on the tour, she would have performed at 30 shows, including visiting locations in Canada and the U.S.
However, she shockingly announced in May that she was canceling the tour despite already beginning rehearsals.
At the time, it was announced that Lopez had canceled the tour to spend more time with her family, a claim she confirmed while conversing with Norton.

The Singer Filed For Divorce From Ben Affleck Months After Tour Cancellation
Nearly three months after canceling her tour, Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck after two years of being together.
However, the date of the separation was listed as April 26, 2024, which meant that the couple’s marriage had since hit the rocks long ago.
As part of her petition in the divorce filing, Lopez waived the right to spousal support for her and Affleck. She also requested that the “Accountant” star’s surname be dropped from hers moving forward.
According to reports, the two did not have a prenuptial agreement, which could have led to a contentious divorce process. However, they opted to mediate the dissolution of their marriage and have seemingly remained amicable.

The Ex-Couple’s Beverly Hills Home Is Still Up For Sale
Prior to Lopez filing for divorce, she and Affleck put up their Beverly Hills mansion for sale. The former couple purchased the luxurious piece of architecture in May 2023, less than a year after they got married.
They had initially tried to sell it off-market, but when that did not pan out, they put it up for sale publicly on July 11 at $68,000,000. It was initially purchased at $60,805,000.
The estate has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a separate 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a two-bedroom guardhouse, and a caretaker house.
It also boasts other massive facilities for staff, recreation, and parking, including an indoor sports complex featuring basketball and pickleball courts, a fully equipped gym, a boxing ring, a zero-edge swimming pool, as well as a sports lounge and bar.

Jennifer Lopez Calls Her Divorce From Ben Affleck ‘Hard’
During her recent chat with Interview Magazine, Lopez finally broke her silence on her divorce from Affleck.
She shared that the breakup was “f-cking hard,’ confirming that her decision to file for divorce in August wasn’t one she took with levity.
Lopez also revealed that her split from the “Argo” star has been quite the emotional rollercoaster. While she has yet to process it fully, she has learned some deep lessons about herself.
“It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate,” the singer told the publication.

Lopez added, “But when you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These things are not going to kill me, it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself.”
