Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted together just hours after she made a subtle reference to partners who “lack integrity” on Instagram.
Rumors and reports about the celebrity couple have been coming fast and furious ever since news broke that they were headed for divorce.
This would be the second high-profile breakup for the couple who began dating after (or while) JLo was engaged to Alex Rodriguez in 2021.
Throughout their marriage, Ben Affleck has often been spotted looking absolutely miserable while the media has continued to hound him and Lopez.
Lopez, meanwhile, has been dealing with the failure of her concert tour, negative reviews of her upcoming movie, and multiple stories of her generally being an awful person.
One report claims that the reason for Affleck and Lopez splitting up is not Ben’s fault, Lopez made a very telling move on Instagram on Thursday that makes it appear as if she thinks it is.
For some reason, Jennifer Lopez threw a like at a Instagram post shared by a relationship coach named Lenna Marsak back in March.
In the post, Marsak wrote in the description, “You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves. We can’t expect someone to see us when we can’t even see themselves. Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing & fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling, it’s action.”
In the post itself, it lists a number of things that will stop a person from building a healthy relationship with someone who has a lack of integrity, lacks of emotional safety, doesn’t respect your time, lacks effective communication skills, and doesn’t know who they are or what they want.
There is almost zero chance that Jennifer Lopez, with her media savvy, would like a two month old Instagram post with that message among reports that she is going to get divorced by coincidence.
After all, this is the same woman who allegedly orchestrated her breakup from Alex Rodriguez to make herself appear in the best possible light.
Interestingly, mere hours after Lopez threw that subtle shade at Ben Affleck, the two of them were photographed in public looking very much like a great couple of parents at a school play starring Ben’s son. They were each even still wearing their wedding rings. (Remember how JLo supposedly mainpulated the media when she and A-Rod broke up?)
It was reportedly the first time they had been seen together in over a month.
Affleck even gave Lopez a ride home back to Beverly Hills after the play, but then slinked off to his new rental in Brentwood.
