Jason Kelce has not even considered the idea that Taylor Swift could ask him to sing on her next album. As unlikely as it might be, the retired NFL legend is more than open to the possibility.
A collaboration between the biggest musical artist in the world and her potential future brother-in-law would break the internet!
Kelce is set to release his third Christmas album with some of his former offensive linemates Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata in November. The first two, including a record-breaking track with both Jason and Travis, were smash hits. All of the proceeds support 70+ nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia area.
Even though Kelce may not be the best vocalist on the team, because Mailata has the voice of an angel, his vocal range is more impressive than you might expect. He can actually carry a tune, as we saw when he sang the national anthem at a Philadelphia 76ers game.
Swift is obviously at a point in her career where gimmicks are not needed. She isn’t trying to go viral. Her music isn’t designed with views on social media in mind.
A Jason Kelce feature on a Taylor Swift track is such a far-fetched idea that the former has not even considered the possibility. The latter probably won’t ask so it has not crossed his mind.
However, he would be more than happy to hop on the mic with his brother’s girlfriend if it was something that would help her career. She can “have that anytime she wants.”
If anything, it seems more likely to play out in reverse. Swift probably won’t have a Kelce feature on her next release, but maybe this got the wheels turning. A Christmas song with Travis and Jason Kelce and Taylor Swift would be one of the most listened to tracks of all-time, which would raise a lot of money!
