Jamie Laing launches brand new podcast ‘Great Company’

Today (March 27th) TV and radio personality Jamie Laing, together with JamPot Productions, unveils a brand new podcast, Great Company.

Set to feature an array of compelling discussions, with a diverse roster of guests from the worlds of entertainment, culture, and sport, the weekly pod will invite anyone and everyone to pull up a seat and join in the conversation – and with Jamie at the helm, listeners can be sure to expect convos that are anything but ordinary!

“I realise that the reason I love podcasts so much is because they’re just a great way to connect with people,” Jamie says of the new pod. “In a world where it’s easy to feel alone, listening to people is a way to feel a bit less alone.”

“So that’s what I really wanted to create. A space to share, to be inspired, to be moved, to learn, and maybe even laugh. And all I need is great guests and you, the great listener…”

Episode one the series sees Laing welcome multi-award-winning musician YUNGBLUD into the fold, to talk about everything from insomnia to his upcoming album, the fear of abandonment, the difference between Dominic and YUNGBLUD, the consequences of fame, struggles with mental health, his love for Justin Bieber, and going to America with £60 and signing to Interscope Records and leaving with £80k as well as the label pressure to deliver and being considered too political for the UK.

The ‘Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today’ singer will also discuss launching BLUDFEST, his make a friend tent and creating a space where people can truly be themselves, reaching out to The Cure, Blondie and The Smashing Pumpkins for a potential icon slot at the festival.

“Delve into must-know topics with expert insights and be uplifted by heart-lifting real stories that evoke laughter and genuine emotion.”
