IShowSpeed suffers wardrobe malfunction during CBS Champions League show

IShowSpeed was mocked by football legends after he appeared on CBS Sports’ Champions League Golazo show to confront Jamie Carragher, and also had an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction.

Over the last few years, IShowSpeed has made football – or soccer – a pretty big part of his streams. Not only does he worship Cristiano Ronaldo, but he regularly watches highlights from games, talks with professional players, and plays EA FC.

He has also appeared in several charity matches too, and will be captain of the YouTube All-Stars in the 2025 Sidemen Charity Match.

That honor was bestowed upon him during his chaotic appearance on CBS Sports’ Champions League Golazo show as he finally got to confront Jamie Carragher.

Speed’s real name mocked by Jamie Carragher

The football Liverpool defender had previously questioned what Speed did to become so popular, asking if he’d run in a straight line when appearing.

Well, Carragher continued to mock Speed when he appeared on the show, calling him by his real name – Darren Watkins. That had the whole crew laughing too.

The YouTuber and defender were then put head-to-head in a race, where Carragher again mocked his name. “Your name is Darren Watkins, not Speed,” he said. “No one called Darren Watkins can be quick.”

The YouTuber ultimately proved how quick he is, beating the analyst in a 40-meter race – even overcoming Carragher’s attempt to pull him back.

However, when he crossed the finish line, Speed revealed that he’d ripped his suit pants in a pretty big way – with the cameras showing it off for everyone to see.

He ended his appearance by backflipping off the studio’s table, so he probably caused a little more damage to his outfit too.

Speed was ultimately invited to appear on the show again, should he visit London in the near future. That’s a far cry from him being rejected by CBS security, which had happened on March 4.
