Cindy Kimberly is striking a pose – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post the influencer flaunts her amazing figure in a Juicy Couture velour sweatsuit as part of the brand’s latest ad campaign. “Juicy girl @juicycoutureuk holiday campaign,” she captioned the series of snaps shared via Instagram. “Stunning,” commented singer Camila Cabello. “Princess!!!!” added another follower. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Having a self-care routine “that works for you is very important in order to feel grounded in yourself no matter what may come,” Kimberly told Sports Illustrated. “When you develop a routine that you can stick to and follow through no matter what, you find a feeling of safety and normality that can be very helpful when things are turbulent whether that’s in your feelings, emotions, work, life etc. I religiously stick to my morning routine because I find it to be my place of safety and home even when I’m traveling, working, dealing with my mental health.”
To keep herself grounded, Kimberly has a few healthy habits. “I usually journal every morning and I like to say my affirmations,” she told Nylon. “Especially when you’re doing something as vulnerable as a swimsuit shoot, I write my affirmations and I make sure that I remind myself that my body is not what everyone else wants it to be and that it’s a blessing that I have a body that takes care of me and allows me to experience life. Just reminding myself to be thankful in every way and just accepting myself in whatever way I am is probably the one thing that I feel is the most important in order to prepare for something like this.”
Cindy loves to dance. “i’m feeling sxccccc,” she captioned this Instagram clip. Dancing is fun and also helps build strength and promote flexibility, and helps you lose weight. According to a 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine , it also promotes heart health. People who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.
Cindy enjoys a variety of water sports, including paddleboarding – great for the core and also a great form of cardio, says The American Council on Exercise (ACE). The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.
Cindy does “some sort of stretch or yoga every morning,” she told Sports Illustrated. “I think it’s important to reconnect with yourself physically as well even just in order to be your best self mentally. Setting 15 minutes apart to stretch and thanking your body for everything it does for you improves your day tremendously.”
