Charlotte Ellis is a personal trainer and fitness competitor. She shares a lot of workout and revealing posts on Instagram. She recently competed in China, and shared some highlights on Instagram. She captioned the post, “@china_dms_pro wrap up ✌🏼 Top 5 for me over in Changsha, China 🇨🇳An awesome result for my second ever pro show, more stage time, more experiences on and off stage, worldwide travel & meeting new people.” She also shared another photo of herself in workout gear. Ellis doesn’t skip leg day. One of her favorite workouts is an RDL. This is my set up for a single leg cable RDL 🍑 & why I’m using the bosu ball too.”

Ellis is always striving for perfection. Ellis makes sure to still eat healthy when she isn’t competing. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “I know, after doing PLENTY of shows…I would rather, not feel like shit, not have to GRAFT between shows, hammering the stair master, eating dust … feeling like death 💀 to likely justtttt make it back to where I was at the last show and not having made any improvements. Sometimes you can even go backwards as your physique is now pretty tired after having the fight that post show water weight off! I think this really comes from experience, having been there and done that haha 🥲 it ain’t fun!!

Ellis makes sure to eat healthy, and that doesn’t mean eating food she hates. She encouraged her clients and followers to do this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Reaching your goals doesn’t mean eating food you don’t like it enjoy… if you think that or have been doing that, that’s probably why you struggle to achieve your goal! The key 🔐 to longevity with this & creating a lifestyle from it, is ENJOYING your meals & daily foods! As you can see, plenty of variety & lots of lovely different food sources.”

Ellis talked about how logging exercises has helped her in the caption of this Instagram post. Not logging reps? 😳The log book can be a great tool 📝 & is something I have used continuously throughout my training however the way I use it has changed as of lately…As an experienced trainer, I know I am still progressing my training with this method without getting caught up in EXACT numbers and allowing it to ruin my session (and let’s face it… day 🙃).’
