Karissa said that she was the "pretty girl" in high school

Taking to TikTok, Karissa Wampler revealed that she was always categorised as the “pretty girl” in high school, and won the title of Homecoming Queen.

However, she said that this did not mean that everybody like her.

She said: “The prettiest girls are often the absolutely loneliest, most torn apart, bullied girls”.

Karissa said that all of the girls at her school were so mean to her, despite the fact that she was “nice to everyone”.

She added that lunch time was her least favourite part of school, as she had to eat alone.

She said that the only person who truly understood her was another girl, who looked like a “walking Barbie doll”.

Karissa explained that the girl had told her that the bullying was nothing to do with her as a person, and that “the pretty girls are always the loneliest”.

She added that she thought that there was something wrong with her until she went to university, where looks cease to be as important.

Karissa’s video, which was posted under the username @k.wamp, has gone viral, racking up over 767,0000 views on the video sharing platform.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, many of whom disagreed with Karissa’s claims.

On person said: “I’d have to disagree.

“Pretty girls get treated way nicer, get paid more, get given stuff for free all of the time, etc.”

Another person said: “Actually, that quiet kid that you completely didn’t even notice is the loneliest.

“They suffer the most. Not you.”

A third remarked: “My best friend is literally stunning and definitely not lonely”.

However, others agreed with Karissa’s theory.

One person said: “I felt the exact same way in school”.

Another person said: “Girls don’t like you so they throw you under the bus and guys only want one thing so you’re constantly asking yourself if people are really your friends”.
