A WOMAN has revealed that she travelled all the way from the UK to Miami for one night to meet a man she’d been speaking to on a dating app, only to be stood up when she got there.
The brit made the ten hour flight to meet the man after she had been chatting to him for around fourth months.
After a traumatic journey in which her flight was cancelled, she received a text from her man to say that he had been called in to work.
She asked him to call in sick to work, but he replied stating that he couldn’t.
The woman posted a video of the ordeal on TikTok, which quickly went viral, racking up more than 820,000 views.
Hours later, she posted a follow up, and revealed that she had made a shocking discovery about the man she was supposed to be meeting.
“This TikTok is for the man that stood me up in Miami”, she said.
“How’s your girlfriend?”
The woman revealed that the man she had supposed to have been meeting had seen her TikTok video and had started to act strange in front of his girlfriend.
When his girlfriend asked him why he was acting weird, she checked his phone and found hundreds of photos of other girls.
The girlfriend discovered that he had been texting around 30 other women, and messaged the woman to tell her the truth.
She was completely astounded by the revelation, as she said that she had really really liked the man.
“Thank you for wasting four months of my life – I hope you get the help you need”, she said.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section, to share their thoughts on the woman’s predicament.
One person said: “Omg, I was not expecting this update. I’m so sorry girl, go live your best life in Miami.
“And so sorry to his girlfriend too!”
Another person said: “I love getting all the tea on this app.

A third person said: “That’s a plot twist I didn’t see coming!”
