After Daniel Craig, a lot of names have come forward to play the iconic James Bond character. For the past two years, the rumours and speculations have been consistent with names like Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, Tom Hiddleston and others. A recent report stated that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is reportedly cast as the new 007. The actor is known for his impressive performances in Nocturnal Animals, The Wall, Bullet Train, Avengers: Age of Ultron, etc.

The news of Aaron Taylor-Johnson being cast as the English spy got tremendous reaction online. It was not an official announcement from the makers. So, is he really the new James Bond? It’s a question that many want an answer to. Recently, the Avengers: Age of Ultron star was asked about the casting news, and he gave a vague answer.

Aaron, who is busy promoting The Fall Guy, decided to neither accept nor deny the James Bond casting news. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor-Johnson said, “I can only really talk about the things I’m going to show and tell. So, The Fall Guy, Nosferatu, Kraven the Hunter. I don’t feel like I need to have a future drawn out for me. I feel like, whatever’s drawn out for me, I can f**ing do better.”
