A BEAUTY guru has divided opinions after revealing that she stopped talking to her friend because she was too flirtatious toward her boyfriend.
She accused her former friend of trying to steal the man she’s dating by doing favors for him and showing a passion for the things that he loves.

Kelly (@kelly_kim_) has garnered over 52,000 followers on TikTok, where she routinely shares makeup and skincare tutorials.
She took to the social media platform to vent about her former friend Jo (@joannayeonlee) as part of a ‘get ready with me’ video.
She said Jo claimed to be a “girl’s girl” but did “ridiculous” things when she started dating a new guy.
“For context, I’ve never ever in my life had to cut off a person cold turkey,” Kelly said.

“And I’ve never had to go through a friendship breakup because genuinely I feel like I only open up to people that deserve my time and I end up loving them for a lifetime hopefully.
“But this girl was just an exception. I am going to try my best to talk through all of this without freaking raging.”
Kelly began to list the issues that she had with Jo, starting with the fact that she added her boyfriend to her close friends’ story on Instagram after they first met.
She accused Jo of posting random things online in the hopes of sparking a conversation.
“Not even a thirst trap, like an attention trap,” Kelly said.
“This was before me and my boyfriend started dating but everyone knew that we were into each other.
“This one kind of goes with the first one. She borrowed my boyfriend’s hoodie when we were all over his house because she was cold.
“Then she took the hoodie home, which is fine. Girl be warm, stay warm, and don’t get cold.
“But she continues to wear the hoodie for the next two weeks and posts all about it on social media.”
Kelly claimed she was willing to overlook her friend posting photos of herself in her boyfriend’s hoodie but things continued to spiral.
Suddenly her friend was showing interest in the brand her boyfriend loved and wanted to “spend hours” getting ready when she knew that he would be around.
“Calling up my other friend telling her that she thinks he’s cute and that she could see herself getting along with him while we were already dating,” Kelly continued.
“Getting him the sandwich that he mentioned he likes and then volunteering to wake up early so that she can hand the sandwich to him so that he can take it to work.”
Kelly claimed the situation no longer made her feel angry despite speaking about it online months after it happened.
She also wished her former friend well in finding a boyfriend of her own.
The video went viral with over 3.7 million views which led to Jo making a video on her own TikTok denying the claims.

Jo said she was baffled by Kelly’s video as she had reached out repeatedly in the hopes of understanding why she had been ghosted.
She said the Instagram story was a misunderstanding as she had added multiple people to her close friends and wasn’t focused on trying to lure Kelly’s boyfriend.
“The attention traps I don’t know what she’s referring to because if it was attention traps, why would she also be on the close friends,” Jo said.
“If I just wanted that to be an attention trap I would only add guys I’m trying to get at.
“I post thirst traps on my public story so that everyone can see that.
“And the hoodie I’m just notorious for not giving back hoodies and I am sorry I just took longer to give this one back because it was really cute.
“It’s not because it was his hoodie and I wanted to keep it longer to cozy up in his hoodie. It was literally because it was cute.”
Jo excused her decision to buy a sandwich for Kelly’s boyfriend by saying that it was an act of gratitude after he mounted her television.
She claimed to have been living with Kelly at the time and that she was also there during the interaction.
“I would’ve done this for anyone else, it doesn’t matter that it was him,” Jo added.
She accused Kelly of deleting a comment that she left underneath her viral video and blocking her to avoid confrontation.
“I respect that you have your own perspective on things but now I know that this is the reason I’m so glad you’re not in my life anymore,” she said.
Over 453,000 people liked Jo’s video however not everyone agreed with her actions toward Kelly’s boyfriend.
Many viewers took to the comment section debating who was in the wrong and sharing their own reasons a friendship fell apart.
“I’m on Kelly’s side. You need to just admit you liked him and lacked some boundaries when they got together. You can’t excuse the hoodie thing,” one person wrote.
“Kelly didn’t even name you so for you to come forward with a response video defending yourself is very telling,” another said.
“Everything else can be explained but not the hoodie. That’s wild. I’d rather freeze to death than wear my friend’s boyfriend’s hoodie,” a third chimed in.
“Ghosting a friend over a new guy just screams insecure imo [in my opinion] like I don’t get what’s the big deal like what’s a hoodie or sandwich gonna do,” a fourth argued.
