HALLE Bailey has opened up about the reason behind her top-secret pregnancy.
The Little Mermaid star hosted a Q&A with fans on Snapchat, and answered their burning questions about her pregnancy journey.

Halle, 23, welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, rapper and YouTuber DDG, 26, at some point in late 2023.
Up until her announcement of his birth, Halle kept her pregnancy private, despite fans quickly picking up clues of the news.
“I just wanted to make sure I had a beautiful and private healthy time in my journey,” Halle said regarding her silence, according to Mail Online.
The Atlanta-born star explained, “I feel like sometimes as people in the limelight, people feel like they want to know every little thing about their life, but I think it’s really beautiful if you keep some things private and sacred.”

Another fan asked whether the film star was stressed out by the strong speculation surrounding her pregnancy.
“I mean, it was a little bit [stressful], but honestly, I stayed off all social media. I really tried to just keep myself sane and okay,” Halle admitted.
Halle also had a sassy message for fans who made a point of telling her they “knew” abut her pregnancy despite her wishes for privacy.
“I’d be like, it’s great that you know, but I’m just going to chill. That’s wonderful if you support me, and if not, that’s okay too. I hope you have a wonderful life,” The Color Purple star shared.

On January 6, Halle finally announced that she’d given birth to a baby boy.
On Instagram, she shared a photo of herself holding his tiny hand, while a gold bracelet reading “Halo” wrapped around his wrist.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.”
“Welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you.”
Halle’s talk of desperation referred to her ardent fans, who frequently begged the star to “admit” to her pregnancy.
FANS’ FURORE
Speculation rose when Halle attended the MTV VMAs in September and walked the red carpet in an orange gown.
The star had her hair in mermaid-like waves, with the loose dress falling over her body in a single sheath, completely concealing her body.
After Halle posted pics of the outfit on Instagram, fans shared their pregnancy theories in the comments, with one writing, “Looks gorgeous but definitely hiding that belly.”
Another agreed, “This! It’s def no Halle shade, but she’s been wearing oversized outfits and posing in ways to hide her tummy for a few weeks now… we can tell lol!
