Unlike Taylor Swift when she attends Kansas City Chiefs games to root on her boyfriend Travis Kelce, pop star and Academy Award nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld doesn’t make a show of herself when she’s supporting his fiancee Josh Allen from the stands.

Buffalo is one of the smaller market in the National Football League, and as a result, its beloved Bills and the fanbase are far more connected than most.

Following the news that Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen got engaged in December, Bills fans rented a billboard in the city in order to send them a congratulatory message, which ultimately reached Steinfeld.

“There’s champagne, there’s beautifully written cards, and then there’s ‘congratulations on your engagement’ billboards. This was a wild and very sweet surprise. Thank you Delaware North and Buffalo. I’m honored,” Steinfeld wrote in her Beau Society newsletter.

After handling the Denver Broncos in the Wild Card Round by a score of 31-7, Allen — who completed 20-26 passes for 272 yards and two touchdown and rushed for an additional 46 yards –and the Bills will host fellow MVP candidate Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round.

The AFC Divisional Round game between the Bills and Ravens will kick off from Highmark Stadium in Buffalo on Sunday, January 19 at 6:30 p.m. EST. The Bills are one-point underdogs at home against the Ravens, with the total being set at 51.5 points.

As for Steinfeld, she’ll next be seen starring alongside Michael B. Jordan in Ryan Coogler’s new action-horror film Sinners, which hits theaters on April 18.  She’ll also be reprising her role as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, although it is unclear when that film will be released after being delayed numerous times.
